Although my educational
background is in
mechanical
engineering, I spent my
early years in "for
sale" commercial real
estate. Through
the course of listing
and selling commercial
real estate, I was asked
to market a United
States Post Office
property and, at a later
date, a senior housing
complex, also known as
congregate living with
services. The experience
achieved by means of
marketing and closing
these two properties
afforded me the ability
to launch a business
plan to exclusively act
as a rainmaker in these
two unique industries
nationwide.
Interestingly, there are
many individuals and
companies, including
REITS, that own both
post office properties
and senior housing. I
have since spent many
years acting as an
exclusive finder of
buyers and sellers for
healthcare/retirement
and US Government leased
properties.
Throughout the years I
have learned the many
complexities of
government leases as
well as the truly
complex nature of
operating a senior
healthcare/retirement
facility. This has
allowed me to not only
be able to properly
analyze an offering, it
also helps me identify
who of my long list of
contacts would be best
suited for that
offering. Because of
this and my many years
cultivating
relationships with those
who buy and sell these
types of properties, I
have been very
successful bringing
together buyers and
sellers.
